The Ordination Rite of a Priest

Here is another interesting video on YouTube. As I am looking at these videos I notice that I am looking at the ones that pertain to ordinations or vocations. Why? Well, an acquaintance suggested to me the other day that the way things are going in our diocese it might come down to us having only one priest for the entire county. Does that worry anyone? It should.

Anyway, I've never had the opportunity to attend an actual ordination so I found this video very interesting. What struck me the most was the sense of brotherhood that appeared as the priests welcomed the newly ordained priest.
