Parish Mission

Today begins our parish mission. Mass this morning was said by a Redemptorist priest. He and his brethren will be at our Area Faith Community until Thursday preaching. It starts tonight at 6:30 PM. There will be a service each night. They will preach on a specific symbol of our faith. Tonight's symbol is the Bible. I myself do not know what to expect from these events. Other churches have reported that these have been very good events. I have, however, come to realize that my opinion of "good" does not always match up with what other people think is good.

My wife often reminds me that I need to keep an open mind. I'm going to do just that. We'll see what happens.
