More Fake Ordinations

The Roman Catholic Womenpriests are at it again. They recently help a pretend ordination for three women, this time is Boston. This is really starting to get old. What worries me, however, is the way it is reported in the news media. It is reported as if these ordinations are real. This has the potential to deceive good, honest, faithful Catholics.

This for example:

The ceremony "is not in compliance with their man-made rules, but it's certainly in compliance with the Roman Catholic ordination rituals because our bishops were ordained by all-male Roman Catholic bishops who are in good standing with the church," as provided by the church's ordination rituals, said Bridget Mary Meehan, the group's spokeswoman.

The above statement is pure folly. First of all, the rules that she mentions to as "man-made" are not man made. They come directly from Christ. Christ, though he could have, did not select women as his apostles. The Church has said over and over again that it does not have the authority to change this practice as it was established by Christ. It cannot be done.

Secondly, even if they did find a bishop in good standing to perform the ordination ritual for them (which I seriously doubt) the moment he attempted to do the ordination he would lose his "good standing". In addition to this, just because they went though a "ordination ceremony" doe s not mean that a real ordination took place. There are certain requirements that must be met for an ordination to take place and one of the very first requirements is that the ordinands be male. What they are doing is pure make believe and the media is eating it up and helping to perpetuate a fraud.

Good and faithful Catholics, please stay very far away from these people. They are not doing anything good for the Church, they will lead you away from Christ not toward him.
